Visual Pipeline Management

The Deals page gives you a visual overview of your entire sales pipeline. See all your opportunities at a glance, organized by stage, with drag-and-drop functionality to move deals forward.

What You'll See

  • All deals organized in columns by pipeline stage
  • Total deal count and pipeline value at the top
  • Deal cards showing title, amount, and key information
  • Risk indicators for deals that need attention
  • Stage totals showing deal count and value per stage

Understanding Pipeline Stages

Deals move through stages as they progress toward closing. Each stage represents a step in your sales process:

Lead

Initial contact or inquiry. Probability: 10%

Qualified

Prospect meets your criteria and shows interest. Probability: 25%

Proposal

Formal proposal or quote sent. Probability: 50%

4

Negotiation

Discussing terms and finalizing details. Probability: 75%

5

Closed Won

Deal successfully closed. Probability: 100%

Closed Lost

Deal did not close. Probability: 0%

Note: You can customize pipeline stages in Settings to match your sales process.

Creating a New Deal

Click "Add Deal"

Find the "Add Deal" button in the top right corner of the Deals page.

Fill in Deal Details

Required and optional fields:

  • Deal Title (required) - Name for this opportunity
  • Contact (required) - Link to an existing contact
  • Amount (required) - Expected deal value
  • Stage - Starting pipeline stage (defaults to Lead)
  • Company - Organization name
  • Expected Close Date - Target closing date

Save and Start Working

Click "Create Deal" to add it to your pipeline. The deal will appear in the appropriate stage column.

Moving Deals Through Your Pipeline

Drag and Drop

The easiest way to update a deal's stage:

  1. Click and hold on a deal card
  2. Drag it to the new stage column
  3. Release to drop it in the new stage
  4. The deal's probability updates automatically

Tip: You can also update the stage by opening the deal and changing it in the deal details.

Understanding Deal Cards

Each deal card shows key information at a glance:

Deal Title

The name of the opportunity, usually the contact or company name.

Deal Amount

The expected value of the deal, displayed prominently in large text.

Smart Summary

A brief automatically-generated summary of the deal's current status and recent activity.

Risk Indicator

If Ralivi detects a risk (like no recent contact or negative sentiment), a warning badge appears with the reason.

Working with Individual Deals

Click any deal card to open the full deal view where you can:

View Communication

See all emails, calls, and messages related to this deal.

Edit Details

Update deal amount, stage, close date, and other information.

Add Notes

Record meeting notes, call summaries, and important details.

Get Insights

See automatically-generated summaries, sentiment analysis, and next steps.

Attach Files

Upload proposals, contracts, and other relevant documents.

Manage Tasks

Create and track tasks related to moving this deal forward.

Pipeline Performance

At the top of the Deals page, you'll see key metrics:

Total Deals

The number of active deals across all stages (excluding Closed Lost).

Total Pipeline Value

The sum of all deal amounts in your pipeline. This represents your potential revenue.

Stage Totals

Each column header shows the number of deals and total value in that stage.

Best Practices

Keep Stages Updated

Move deals to the correct stage as soon as they progress. This keeps your pipeline accurate and helps provide better suggestions.

Set Realistic Amounts

Use accurate deal values to get meaningful pipeline metrics and forecasts.

Add Expected Close Dates

Setting close dates helps you forecast revenue and prioritize deals that are closing soon.

Review Risk Indicators

Pay attention to deals with risk warnings. These need immediate attention to prevent them from stalling.

Clean Up Closed Deals

Move won and lost deals to their respective closed stages to keep your active pipeline focused.
