Best Practices

Start Conservative

Begin with fewer notifications enabled. You can always turn more on if you're missing important updates.

Use the Daily Digest

The daily digest is a great way to stay informed without constant interruptions. Enable it and disable individual notifications.

Always Enable Reminders

Task and meeting reminders are critical for staying on top of your work. Keep these enabled even if you disable other notifications.

Adjust Based on Role

Managers need different notifications than individual contributors. Customize based on what's relevant to your role.

Review Periodically

Your notification needs may change over time. Review your settings every few months and adjust as needed.

Troubleshooting

Not receiving email notifications

  • Check your spam/junk folder
  • Verify notifications are enabled in settings
  • Confirm your email address is correct in your profile
  • Add notifications@ralivi.com to your contacts

Receiving too many notifications

  • Disable individual notification types you don't need
  • Switch to daily digest instead of real-time notifications
  • Adjust notification settings to match your role

Daily digest not arriving

  • Verify daily digest is enabled in settings
  • Check if digest time is set correctly (UTC timezone)
  • Look in spam folder
  • Wait 24 hours - digests are sent once per day
